In Kota Baru, Kelantan – known as the Red Warriors – turned on a dazzling display in front of a sell-out 25,000 crowd at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium to beat KL Plus FC 3-0 for a 4-1 aggregate win.
Kelantan went ahead in the 10th minute when Indra Putra Mahayuddin was fouled by KL Plus goalkeeper Razi Effandi Suhit. Indra picked himself up and easily converted the penalty.
Mohd Norfarhan Mohd then sealed the game with two quick kills in the 84th and 86th minutes.
Kelantan’s semi-final opponents will be Perlis, who brushed aside Johor FC 2-0 at Stadium Utama in Kangar for a 4-1 aggregate win.
Amar Rohidan (eighth minute) and Mohd Nizaruddin Yusop (48th) got the goals for Perlis.
Terengganu will face Negri Sembilan, who had little difficulty cruising into the last four after they defeated Kuala Muda Naza 3-0 at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar for a 5-0 aggregate victory.
